MEET INFORMATION

Entry procedures and deadline
Entries must be submitted on ATHLETIC.net:. We will be timing and scoring all races, so we need the name of every runner who will participate in the meet. Since scoring is by number, we don’t need you to specify Varsity, JV or 2-mile squads. Please submit boys and girls teams separately. Please attempt to get the entries in by August 20. Additions can be made on the day of the meet. EMAIL questions to lccxc@aol.com. Timing and scoring will be done by Michiana Timing.

AwardsOverall Invitational Champion boys and girls Varsity teams will take home our perpetual trophy, “The Bishop’s Cup,” an 18” crystal cup. In addition to awards for the overall winners, two trophies for Divisional Champions (Overall Champion will not be eligible for divisional championship)based on school enrollment. Winner of the large school division will receive the Knights of Columbus Award. The winner of the small school division will receive the St. Francis Award. Team trophies will also be awarded to the top two JV teams. Members of all ten winning teams get a Michigan Catholic running bag. The top 20 varsity boys and girls, top 10 JV boys and girls and top 10 2-mile boys and girls will medal, plus the top 10 varsity boys and girls also get “Champion” t-shirts.

Check-In and Team TentsCoaches can pick up team packets in the Race Office, adjacent to the Vendor Tent. A fully staffed first aid station also will be located on site. Team tents can be placed on the perimeter of the field in front of the stage.

ParkingFree parking is available on site for spectators. School buses will park on site.

Admission
Admission is $5 per person or $20 per family.

Michigan Catholic T-shirts We will have meet t-shirts for sale. Coaches receive complimentary long-sleeve “Coach” shirts at lunch.

Concessions
The Michigan Catholic features a huge vendor tent. The tent offers a variety of foods as well as snacks such as popcorn, candy and Italian ice. Complete lunches will be available for under $5.

Enjoy the property
St. Francis Retreat Center is a beautiful 95 acre campus. Kids can bring Frisbees, footballs, even volleyballs – there is a sand court.
